Whether this is your first pregnancy or your fifth, most likely you’re feeling like you (a) have nothing to wear, (b) will never look as cute as you did not pregnant, or (c) both.

When I was pregnant for the first time (going on four years ago now), I couldn’t wait to wear maternity clothes. I was SO excited, and just couldn’t wait to look as cute as Kate Hudson or Gwyneth Paltrow, or any of the other Hollywood hot mamas.  Then reality set in . . . maternity clothes were either crazy-expensive, or pretty much disposable . . . wear it for a few weeks and toss it when it shrunk, faded, or fell apart.  And heaven forbid I needed any help when I was shopping.  “I’ll be over here if you need anything” is the only thing I remember from my first shopping experience (anyone who’s been here, just raise your hand).

And my second pregnancy?  Well, instead of “popping” earlier in my pregnancy, I only got fat earlier in my pregnancy (hey, no one told me THAT was going to happen!).  So there I was, 10 weeks pregnant, wearing maternity clothes.  And some of those clothes that fit me at 10 weeks were nowhere near the “ok to wear” pile at 38 weeks.

So, what’s a girl to do?  Find clothes that fit well and grow with you during your pregnancy . . . and last for more than one pregnancy (whether it’s your pregnancy or your sister’s).  "Is that really possible?" you’re wondering.  I’m here to tell you that shopping for and wearing maternity clothes can actually be enjoyable (even fun!), not a punishment.  We will work with you, find the fit that’s right for you, and find those things you never knew you needed.
